Effective date: September 27, 2026
This page says what The Capital Warehouse ("we") collects when you use this website or take the Financial Clarity Check, what we do with it, who else handles it, and how to stop hearing from us.
What we collect
What you give us on the contact form, in the Clarity Check, or when you book a call:
- Your name and email address
- Your phone number, if you give it
- Anything you write in a message or in the free-text question
- Your Clarity Check answers: ranges for your age, household income, federal tax paid, retirement savings, real estate, business, insurance, and how you work with your CPA and advisor. The check asks for ranges only, never exact balances, account numbers or government ID numbers.
- Whether you ticked the box for texts or the box saying it's OK to call you
- Which ad or page brought you here, if the link carried that information
We also collect standard web data automatically, such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, through our hosting provider and the advertising tool described below.
What we use it for
- To work out and show your Clarity Check results and to email you your guide
- To send you a short series of follow-up emails about your results and our planning service. They come from Richard Amburn at The Capital Warehouse, from our own email account. Reply "unsubscribe" to any of them and we won't email you again.
- To prepare for a call or meeting you book
- To answer a message you send us
- To measure whether our ads work (see Meta Pixel below)
- If you become a client, to do the planning work and to communicate with you about it
We don't sell your answers or your contact details, and we don't share them with anyone for their own marketing.
Texts. We text you only if you ticked the box asking for texts. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text and we stop.
Calls. We don't call you about your results unless you ticked the box saying that's OK, or you booked a call yourself.
Where your information goes
These are the services that handle your information for us, and what each one does:
- Our lead system, hosted on Vercel: your Clarity Check answers, results and contact details are stored in our own system on Vercel, a US cloud host, in private storage that only our team can open. The same system keeps a record of the emails we send you.
- Google (Gmail): our emails to you, including your guide and the follow-up emails, are written and sent by Richard from The Capital Warehouse's own Google email account. Every one of them carries our postal address and says how to opt out: reply "unsubscribe".
- Web3Forms: contact form submissions, and the short note that tells us a Clarity Check was completed (your name, email, phone, the service level your answers fit, the items flagged and what you wrote in the free-text question; not your other answers), are delivered to our inbox through Web3Forms, a form delivery service. Its privacy policy is at web3forms.com/privacy.
- Calendly: when you book a call, your booking details are handled by Calendly under its own privacy policy.
- Specialists and your own professionals: if you become a client, we share what a specialist on our bench needs in order to review an item on your plan, and we share information with your own CPA, advisor or attorney when you ask us to. Before you become a client, the specialists see nothing that identifies you.
- Google Fonts and the Tailwind CSS CDN: these load the typography and styling on our pages and may log standard request data such as your IP address. Google's privacy policy is at policies.google.com/privacy.
Meta Pixel (Facebook ads)
Our pages, including the Clarity Check, use the Meta Pixel. It sets cookies and sends Meta these signals so we can measure our ads and show them to the right people:
- that you viewed a page (PageView)
- that you started the Clarity Check (ViewContent)
- that you completed it (an event called QuizComplete, with the service level your answers fit)
- for completions that fit one of our service levels, a Lead event
We do not send Meta your answers, your name or your contact details. Meta may combine the signals above with what it already knows about you under its own policy. You can manage ad preferences in your Facebook settings or at facebook.com/privacy/policy, and you can block the pixel with a browser extension or by disabling third-party cookies.
How to stop hearing from us
- Emails: reply "unsubscribe" to any email, or email us at the address below. We stop right away.
- Texts: reply STOP.
- Everything: email us and ask us to delete your record. We will, unless the law requires us to keep it.
How long we keep it
If you take the Clarity Check and don't become a client, we keep your answers and contact details while we are in touch with you, and we delete them when you ask. If you become a client, we keep your records for as long as the engagement and the record-keeping rules that apply to it require.
Security
Your answers travel over an encrypted connection and are stored in private storage behind a login. We don't ask you to send documents such as a tax return ahead of a meeting: you have them handy and we look at them together on screen. If you become a client and a specialist needs a copy of a document, we'll tell you exactly what and how to get it to us. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we update the date at the top of this page.
